When a page is requested, the server automatically stores data transmitted by your browser in log files:

• volume of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval

This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to investigate malfunctions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources, nor is it evaluated for marketing purposes. The log files are deleted automatically after [number] days.

No analytics, statistics, advertising or social media tools are used, and no data is stored in your browser (neither local storage nor session storage). A consent banner is therefore not required.

A single cookie is set, and only when you open the Test Portal page:

• Purpose: the test portal can only be reached via this page. The cookie tells the portal that you arrived via the website.

The cookie contains no personal data and is not evaluated. As it is strictly necessary for the function you have expressly requested, no consent is required; the legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No cookie is set on any other page of this website.

The selected language is part of the page address (for example /de/ or /en/) and is not stored. If you call up the start address without a language, the server evaluates your browser's language setting once in order to redirect you; nothing is stored in the process.

The fonts used (Exo 2 and Roboto) are stored on our own server and loaded from there. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external service. Images, stylesheets and scripts are also delivered exclusively from our own server. When you visit this website, your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any third party.

This website has no contact form. If you write to us by e-mail – for example to the address given on the Feedback page – we process your details solely in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (responding to the enquiry) or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your message relates to a contract. Your message remains with us until the purpose of storage no longer applies or you ask us to delete it; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

This website links to third-party services, including the European Union's Europass pages. When you click such a link you leave our website; the operator of the target site is responsible for data processing there. No third-party content is embedded in our pages.

The test portal is a separate application with user accounts and a login. It processes personal data to a greater extent than this website – including access credentials, contact details and the competence profiles you create – and, according to its own information, uses a statistics tool.
